Ready... Set... SALE-A-BRATION!!!!

Can you believe it is that time AGAIN!!! I have mailed out the catty's to you (if you were on my mailing list prior to Dec. 11th), you should get it some time this week. If you just can't wait that long, I know I wouldn't be able to, then click on the link and take a gander at this years catalog. Don't know what Sale-A-Bration is? Let me explain...for every $50 you spend on Stampin' Up! merchandise you get a free stamp set or package of rub-on's from the 2008 SAB Mini Catalog. There are 5 different stamp sets and 1 package of rub-on's to choose from.

The best part of this all is the stamp camp that myself and 2 other Demo's are putting together for March 7th. You will get to make 6 different projects many of which use the sets and rub-ons from the SAB mini catalog. Check out my Creative Projects page on my website to see what we will be making at the camp. Oh I almost forgot that included in the cost of the camp you will get to go home with your very own package of RUB-ONS!!!! You can beat that with a stick!!! Check my site for additional details.

Retreat Time!!!

Ready, Set, Scrap!!! Well this weekend was
AMAZING, we had SO much fun at this weekend retreat being crafty. We stayed up late, crafted TONZ and laughed until we wet our pants. Well, OK so maybe we didn't do ALL of that- we only crafted moderately. *smirk*

We met the most friendly girls (Karen, Keri) at our station this weekend. We have been here once before (back in Aug. last year for our B-days) an originally met Amy, Theresa, Michelle, and the other ladies at station one. They were such a riot that we had to return with them and on this trip we met for the first time our table mates, the "sissies"!! They are SOOO sweet and FUNNY!! OMW- they are funny, and so crafty!

So here we are at our little station...yeas I brought ALL of my ink, ribbon, and paper (you can see those in the pic...they are on the floor). The gal in the pink is Keri and you can't really see but her sister Karen is directly across from me. They were so FUNNY! They gave really great ideas and tips to Lori for her scrap pages. We also learned a lot about them, Karen can not take repetitive, loud, irritating noises...so needless to say I felt bad that they were stuck with me all weekend. *grin* Sorry Karen!

I am desperately trying to get Lori to assist me with pictures for my tutorial for an upcoming Stamp Camp. I knew she couldn't ignore me forever...from my angle I thought she might not have heard me and so I thought some repetitive nudging would help. Lori, Lori, Lori, Lori, Lori, Lori, Lori, Lori, Lori, Lori...

Here is all four of us...there were 13 gals total this weekend. There were 4 more at the station to the right of us, and another 5 at the station catty corner of Lori. I know that sounds like a lot but there was LOTS of room and we had some SERIOUS jams thanks to Amy's IPod...What variety...I especially liked "put your back into it..." I think that is what the song was called? I hate the fact that all the dates are taken for the rest of 2008...*frown*
Oh well here's to a great, memorable weekend...cant wait to do it SOON!

Charmed- I'm Sure...

Ok, so I made this pic pretty big because it is pretty hard to see these if it was any smaller. Are these not cute? I am making these for my craft fairs...you can put them on your scissors or key chain, or even your craft tote to let everyone know it is yours. I made some name labels out of poly shrink for my craft tote that hang off the end of the beads. These are SUPER fun to make, and you will see them on my blog store soon. I finally figured out how to get the purchase thingies to work and I am in the process of getting it ready for the unveiling! How exciting...hope you enjoy. *grin*

I am FINALLY done!!! Whew...

Well after spending TONS of time getting organized and situated I am finally finished. I have been stocking up on different products lately getting ready for some future craft fairs. I am hopeful to book some in the spring/summer. I am also SO excited that I finally have this office/craft room done so that I can now focus on getting all the pics taken for the new blog store I am working on. :) (oh did I say that out loud- oops, *wink*) Be on the look out! That large white box thing on the table there is my photo cube...I am no photographer but I read about them on TayloredExpressions blog (see her link under my fav's!). She has the most amazing pics on her website and she uses one of these to make them look so nice. I am still learning about how to use a camera to get the most out of the pic! I store all my punches in a see through door hanging shoe rack- I love it! I have all my card stock in roll away bins under the table as well- you cant really see them.

This is a view of the rest of the right side of the room. I have all of my stamp sets on the upper shelves and the ones closest to the tables are full of all my NECESSITIES (scissors, adhesive, coluzzle, crop-a-dile, wheel handles, gel pens, blender pens, stylus, embossing powders, micro beads, etc.) pretty much anything I don't want to get off my BUTT to get! *grin* I also have my SU! markers sitting there at my finger tips. I have all my stamp pads, paper scraps, die cuts, and if you look closely my NEW ribbon organizers all right there!

OK now if you turn you head just a bit...this is the view. This is the TOWER for all of my 12x12 paper, oh yeah and at the top is the box of the SU! Christmas wrapping paper that I couldn't live without. I just couldn't bring my self to actually wrapping resents with it knowing that people would just ball up and throw away this BEAUTIFUL paper!!! So I keep it for other projects that I do...I have SO many great ideas for craft fair items! *Bwahahaha* If you notice the two tubs under the table those are altered items/craft fair items that I have either finished so far or have left over from previous fairs. I cant wait for this next weekend, I have some COOL projects saved up for my CRAFT RETREAT...oh I am SOOOOOO excited!

Alight, so this is my LEAST favorite side of my room. I get anxious every time I look this direction. I feel like even though everything is in a spot, it feels like mass chaos to me. I always feel that way until I get fair items done and packed away in my tubs. there is just so much inventory type items jammed in there...it really jacks with my OCD! *Hee Hee Hoo, Hee Hee Hoo* Time for yoga! On that table are all my cool machines, cuttlebug, xyron, light box, laminating machine (you cant see it behind the Dell toner), and my swap bag (that things holds like a million swaps, OK maybe I am exaggerating just a little). Under the table is my beautiful PINK tote! I got this like 2 years ago from my hubby...he doesn't get this whole obsession but humors me with kindness. I saved the best part for last...

Man this looked SO much better bigger...I know, I know, it is really hard to see how cool this is but these are my ribbon organizers that I got TODAY! I set them up the minuet they arrived! I spent like 2 hours getting them all installed and in place, did I mention that I LOVE to organize. If I wasn't running a staffing agency, and a stamping biz I would love to be a professional organizer. I know you would probably have your eyes scratched out of your head. I am weird like that. What is really funny is that the rest of my house looks like someone broke into it and ran-sacked it. Seriously! hope you enjoyed this glimpse into my room because it will be a WHILE before it looks like this again!

Wow, Improvements!

Ok, so here is a sneak peak of my new website BUT there is more great news! I am starting to finally figure out how to use this silly thing! *grin* So I figured out how to add an on-line purchase option (now just to get it set up!) I also (thanks to Heather!!) have figured out how to add a calendar for you to view as well! I am so excited...I also set up my new Stampin' Up! Website tonight. It goes live tomorrow, I hope to have the link change over running SOON! I have to tell you I think I am really going to love this new site. It is SO pretty and so easy to use, I love it. Uploading and updating is SOOOO much easier than my old one. I can also create the most beautiful newsletters as well, and you should see the templates...words are not enough! I might send out a tester for everyone even though I have already sent out my official newsletter for Jan. I can pass it up, it is so pretty. I even have the option to send out invitations for classes, but they are SO much prettier! I am testing a few things first before I go full force, but so far ME LIKEY!!!

Merry Christmas To Erin!

Well after all the time I spent getting my Ribbon Holders made look what SANTA brought me for Christmas...Ribbon Holders! I do have to admit that these things are SLICK! They are very small (takes up very LITTLE space) and you can SEE all the different types of ribbon you have.

I have to admit that I believe I like these things A LOT!!! I understand that they sell at Micheal's for $9.99/ea. BUT I found them on-line for MUCH cheaper. They are called
Crop-In-Style Ribbon Organizer. They can stack snugly on top of each other or they lock into place side by side. INGENIOUS!!!

One Last Item For Santa...

Ok, so I meant to post this MUCH earlier...but do I really have to explain my laziness? *grin* So I made a plate like this for Santa (minus the image in the middle) on a white plate originally using Staz-on ink...but it didn't work out like I planned. The plate was SO cute and in a bung of different colors. Now keep in mind I have used Staz-on Ink on all kinds of non-porous things and it has never come off before, but not this time! Once Santa had eaten his helping of the cookies left for him on the plate I went to gently wipe the crumbs off the plate and store it for next year, BUT the ink flaked off. I don't know if it was because there was a *weird* glaze on the plate or maybe the grease from the cookies?? Who knows...so long story short (I know, I know too late) I decided to do the same type of idea but by Etching a glass plate so now it is PERMANENT! I am going to not only sell these in my craft fairs next year but I am also going to have a class for this as well. SUPER easy and WAY fun!!!
I know it has been a few days since the new idea book & catalog has been out but I just cant seem to get with it yet this year. *sigh* But I finally made a list (somewhat LONG I have to admit) of things I need to get done...more frequent posting is defiantly on there! I hope you enjoy this new Catalog- I LOVE IT!!! It is so pretty and such great ideas and new Stamps, what more could you ask for?

If you would like your own copy of this marvelous book just email me your request. The books are $5 each + shipping, great price when you figure the retail cost of the book is $9.99 and it has WAY more ideas than a regular Scrapbook or Craft magazine and for the same price. Take a peek on-line if you would like by visiting my web site and click on the link below the Catalog icon. Enjoy!!
