In Celebration of Thanksgiving!!

I found this adorable Scallop Punch Turkey while surfing the web a few nights ago, and thought it would be perfect to celebrate the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday! I couldn't believe how STINKING cute this fowl was!
It is made out of a few scallop punches in a few different colors. You cut 4 different colors in half, and with your scissors cut a little space between scallops for the feathered tail look. For the body/head- take another scallop punch and cut to match the shape in the picture...I am not sure how to describe that well. I guess make a triangle of sorts, does that work? The beak and turkey chin (that is the technical term), is made from a small flower punch (from the spring bouquet). The feet are kind of hard to see but they are made from a scrap piece that has little whimsical talons cut into them. :) How do you like that description! I think these would be adorable for name cards for Thanksgiving dinner. I would opt to make these as long as I don't have to cook. :) I hope you enjoy this cute little tid-bit.

LOOK WHAT I HAVE BEEN UP TO...

Over the past few months I have been working feverishly to get a whole slew of projects done for my different craft fairs. I have completed them all and I am going to post everything here. *grin*. This post will be kind of long...get ready. I am hoping that over the next month or so I can add an option to my website to purchased personalized versions of these items- so keep an eye out! Here we go-

This is a travel mug that you can use for all kinds of beverages. It has little coffee beans around the top and bottom and all of the turquoise embellishments are EMBOSSED. Along the top it says, "Love, Laugh, Live." The coffee mug has an embossed heart and straw, the foam on top is done with a 3-D puffy applique. It is all encased in a protective mug. It can not be washed in the dishwasher but can be cleaned by hand. This can be personalized any way you would like, with different colors, phrases, or even names.

This is a child's activity box. It is filled with 6 laminated games and also includes 3 dry eraser markers. The games include Tic-Tac-Toe, Word Find, Maze, Word Scramble, Connect the Dots, and a blank page for Art. these are great for kids in restaurants, Dr. offices, church, and any other place you want your child to stay occupied and quiet. It all comes packaged in a perfect sized clear plastic box that is easy enough for kids to open. These can be personalized with the child's name as well.

These are Baby blanket Gift Packs. They consist of a stamped baby receiving blanket, stamped onesie, stamped hat- all tied together for an adorable presentation. They can be created with all types of messages, and even be personalized with the babies name. This example says, "I'm Here" with little hand prints or feet prints. These are great gifts to celebrate a new baby or babies!

Personalized Baby Shower invitations are a great way to set the mood for your day of celebration. These are made for girl, boy, or gender neutral themes in mind. They are coordinating colors and have matching patterned ribbons across these postcard style invitation.

These Candy Bar Sliders are so fun to give, get and MAKE! They are super cute and make a great teachers gift, party favor, or even used in lieu of a place setting card. When you untie the bow and pull on the ribbon the candy bar comes sliding out of the fabulous wrapper. You can have any saying you desire placed on the front scalloped tag.

This is another great gift for those mothers expecting a new addition. These can be made to be gender specific, but this example is gender neutral. The gift can includes a decorative clear paint can (that can be used for scrapbooking on the go), stamped onesie, stamped note pad, and matching shaker magnet. There is an adorable poem that explains how to use the can...when kids are small we often don't have time to scrapbook those memorable moments so jot them down (along with the date) on the note pad included and place inside the can. When you have time you will have all your memories ready to put down on paper whether it's in a scrapbook or a baby book.

These decorative Clear Paint Pails are a great way to finish of the perfect teachers gift or holiday hostess gift just to name a few. You can fill these decorative pails with almost anything- even CHOCOLATE! The different themes I can create are as follows: "Filled with Love", "Happy Holidays", Trick or Treat", "#1 Teacher", "Just for You", Happy Birthday", "Special Day", and "For Baby".

These adorable Desk Calendars are perfect gift for a co-worker, teacher, or even yourself! There is a different card for every month that tucks ever so neatly into a mini clear case, and when opened and folded backwards also acts as a stand for the entire calendar. When you finish with one month simply toss it or place it in the back of the case to reveal your current month.

These Designer frames are great for any room in your house. They make great gifts and accent pieces to any decor. These can be made in any color for more of a sophisticated feel to a more whimsical look.

These FUN Holiday Name Frames are a great accent to your decor for any holiday season. The frame comes with 4 Holiday inserts- "Merry Christmas", "Happy Thanksgiving", "Happy Easter", "Happy Halloween".

Kid Keepers are a handy little tool that tucks away in any purse or bag for those emergency situations when you need to keep your child HAPPY. The stamped scenic picture is folded neatly on top of the crayon case. Simply pull the kit out of your bag, unfold the picture and let your child get creative. These are great for any situation!

These decorative Luggage Tags are perfect identifiers for your belongings. You can use them on Luggage, Scrapbook Totes, or any bag you want others to know is YOURS!

These decorative Mail Boxes can be personalized for any occasion. These can be filled with anything for any gift occasion. They make a great container for party favors and be coordinated to go with any theme.

Stamped Note Cubes is a simple gift for teachers, co-workers or a great addition with a candy bar slider or paint pail gift. These come complete with a coordinating Beaded Pen, and wrapped with accenting ribbon!

Stamped onesies are a great gift! These can be personalized in so MANY different ways. These are heat set and able to be washed and worn with out fading. Any theme or design can be used and would be a great accompaniment to any gift!

Halloween Treat Gifts!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! I am so excite for Halloween, I love watching my kids having fun trick or treating. It is such a blast! I made these cute little chocolate eye ball, ears, and finger treat jars. They are topped with the trick or treat Stampendous pail toppers. I added a little black stickles- which I LOVE!!! I made a cute little spooky tag from the Batty For You set. I used pumpkin grosgrain ribbon to make my bow around the top. I thought these were so fun, cute, SUPER easy and fast to make. I got this idea from a sweet gal, Susan S., that I met at convention this year. She made this item for a door prize at one of her classes...such a good idea! Anywho- I hope you enjoy!

WE'VE BEEN BOO-ED!!!

Last night I was busy getting my kids in bed while I was also trying to get my Newsletter together as well when out of the blue...a knock at the door! Of course my husbands first comment was, "Erin, are you expecting anyone?" I said no, he then looked out the peep hole and stood there st airing for what seemed like 10min. FINALLY he opens the door, I hear no conversation so I yell out- who is it? He comes inside and say someone brought us a package. I look over he balcony and yell, "WE'VE BEEN BOO-ED!!!" The kids were completely confused and while I was explaining what this was, I notice my son rustling around the bucket and then he was gone. I finished explaining it to my daughter when I started to wonder where my son was and why I COULDN'T hear him? I walk into the kitchen and he is sitting behind the island scarfing down all the candy he was able to grab before I caught him! Man is he QUICK and SNEAKY! Any how whom ever gave us this fun surprise THANK YOU!!!

Craft Fair Time AGAIN!!

Ok, so this is last years pic of the BIG craft fair that I take part in. I am going to set up tonight for this years and I will show you how much I have changed my presentation later tonight! I am so relieved the first ones are over. That is so overwhelming and scary. I know better what to expect and what to sell. Last year I broke even but that was not my goal. I did better research this year and started earlier with my prep. I feel better prepared and I am excited about the end result. Wish me luck and check out my pics after my set up today!

Ribbon Storage Box

I created this ribbon storage box because I was getting more ribbon then I could store on those trouser hangers. So I put together these boxes, I am actually thinking of doing this for a class. It would be a great way to up sell the Crop-A-Dile! It was super easy and only took me about 35 min total! Using a regular photo storage box, I started by punching holes all along the sides with the largest setting on the CAD.

Then I placed the ribbon through the holes until they were all filled. I sometimes had to place the ribbon spools on top of other or underneath the smaller spools.

Here you can see a few pics of the finished product. I plan on labeling the outside with the color combo for each do. I can stack and store these on the shelves above my craft space and have access to them at a moments notice!

I FINALLY DID IT!!!

Well, I have finally taken the plunge! I have now become a *Blogger*. My husband calls my cousin (who got me started in stamping) my *CRACK* dealer, and now he laughs when he sees how consumed I am by it. I am excited to share my creations and comments with everyone. I have been so inspired by other blogs I have visited and received inspiration from, and I am hopeful that I can share that with someone else. I hope to download some of my creations in the next few days and get your feedback. I am preparing for several craft fairs over the next 2 months. I am excited about this new form of media and will see you on the flip side!
