Halloween Treat Gifts!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! I am so excite for Halloween, I love watching my kids having fun trick or treating. It is such a blast! I made these cute little chocolate eye ball, ears, and finger treat jars. They are topped with the trick or treat Stampendous pail toppers. I added a little black stickles- which I LOVE!!! I made a cute little spooky tag from the Batty For You set. I used pumpkin grosgrain ribbon to make my bow around the top. I thought these were so fun, cute, SUPER easy and fast to make. I got this idea from a sweet gal, Susan S., that I met at convention this year. She made this item for a door prize at one of her classes...such a good idea! Anywho- I hope you enjoy!

WE'VE BEEN BOO-ED!!!

Last night I was busy getting my kids in bed while I was also trying to get my Newsletter together as well when out of the blue...a knock at the door! Of course my husbands first comment was, "Erin, are you expecting anyone?" I said no, he then looked out the peep hole and stood there st airing for what seemed like 10min. FINALLY he opens the door, I hear no conversation so I yell out- who is it? He comes inside and say someone brought us a package. I look over he balcony and yell, "WE'VE BEEN BOO-ED!!!" The kids were completely confused and while I was explaining what this was, I notice my son rustling around the bucket and then he was gone. I finished explaining it to my daughter when I started to wonder where my son was and why I COULDN'T hear him? I walk into the kitchen and he is sitting behind the island scarfing down all the candy he was able to grab before I caught him! Man is he QUICK and SNEAKY! Any how whom ever gave us this fun surprise THANK YOU!!!

Craft Fair Time AGAIN!!

Ok, so this is last years pic of the BIG craft fair that I take part in. I am going to set up tonight for this years and I will show you how much I have changed my presentation later tonight! I am so relieved the first ones are over. That is so overwhelming and scary. I know better what to expect and what to sell. Last year I broke even but that was not my goal. I did better research this year and started earlier with my prep. I feel better prepared and I am excited about the end result. Wish me luck and check out my pics after my set up today!

Ribbon Storage Box

I created this ribbon storage box because I was getting more ribbon then I could store on those trouser hangers. So I put together these boxes, I am actually thinking of doing this for a class. It would be a great way to up sell the Crop-A-Dile! It was super easy and only took me about 35 min total! Using a regular photo storage box, I started by punching holes all along the sides with the largest setting on the CAD.

Then I placed the ribbon through the holes until they were all filled. I sometimes had to place the ribbon spools on top of other or underneath the smaller spools.

Here you can see a few pics of the finished product. I plan on labeling the outside with the color combo for each do. I can stack and store these on the shelves above my craft space and have access to them at a moments notice!

I FINALLY DID IT!!!

Well, I have finally taken the plunge! I have now become a *Blogger*. My husband calls my cousin (who got me started in stamping) my *CRACK* dealer, and now he laughs when he sees how consumed I am by it. I am excited to share my creations and comments with everyone. I have been so inspired by other blogs I have visited and received inspiration from, and I am hopeful that I can share that with someone else. I hope to download some of my creations in the next few days and get your feedback. I am preparing for several craft fairs over the next 2 months. I am excited about this new form of media and will see you on the flip side!
